A community brass band based in Malvern. The band has many performances throughout the year including Council Citizenship Ceremonies, Christmas Carols, Afternoon Tea Dances, and many other community, corporate and private events. The band currently has members from all age groups ranging from 10 to 85, and is actively looking to recruit new members.
When: 7.30pm Tuesdays, Training Band on Mondays

Boroondara Symphonic Band
Boroondara Symphonic Band Incoporated was originally formed as the Balwyn Concert Band in
1980 by the Rotary Club of Balwyn. It was, and still is, a community initiative to promote the enjoyment of Symphonic Band Music among young people in the Camberwell area and now focuses on Boroondara area in Melbourne.
The main aim of the Band is to provide an opportunity for musicians to perform and participate in a community environment. The Band provides opportunities for developing self-confidence, teamwork skills, meeting new people and performing music from a wide repertoire including Jazz, Classical and Concert Band music.
